The Portland Hospital

The Portland Hospital for Women and Children is the largest private children’s hospital in the UK and is owned and run by HCA International Ltd.

For The Portland Hospital, Essential Parent have provided the beautiful and intuitive App, fully branded, and loaded with a lot of Portland specific content. It is designed to deliver content bundles along timelines set by a baby’s due date or birth date, going up to the age of 19 years. Women’s health and fertility is covered as well as content for parents of infants and children.

Whittington Hospital

Whittington Hospital is a district general and teaching hospital of UCL Medical School and Middlesex University School of Health and Social Sciences.

The Whittington Hospital will be launching their Essential Parent App in April 2022. The maternity department have already loaded their library full of Whittington specific content, and a lot of leaflets in languages useful for their patients. The timelines of content delivery for maternity will be triggered by a baby’s due date or birth date, and parents can browse the complete library at any time.
